Hello again folks, it’s Brue a.k.a. Grue a.k.a. the guy the talks about Minecraft all the time with another day of coverage for E3, Day 2 to be exact. Not a whole lot going on today, but I’d look like an asshole if I didn’t try to scrounge together some juicy little tidbits, or at least show new info from games I’ve talked about already. So here it is. Tomorrow I’ll have a nice little recap of the stories that made me shit myself with excitement and talk more about my expectations for these games.
Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, even though they’ve kicked themselves out of the survival horror genre, this new game seems interesting in that you get to play the bad guys: http://www.joystiq.com/2011/06/08/you-wont-cheer-for-umbrella-in-resident-evil-operation-raccoon/
Star Wars Kinect, the latest attempt from Microsoft to tempt me to the Dark Side of the Force after they hired hackers to crash PSN. Just kidding, Sony’s security is like trying to keep flies out with a net: http://www.joystiq.com/2011/06/08/star-wars-kinect-preview-force-flail/
Minecraft is officially coming to Xbox 360 after they tried ripping it off with FortressCraft:

Wii U also shows off some more games today: http://www.gamasutra.com/view/news/35131/E3_Ubisoft_Shows_Off_New_Wii_U_Games.php
as well as this little gem: http://wii.ign.com/articles/117/1174728p1.html
And in breaking news the Wii U looks almost exactly like a Wii: http://kotaku.com/5810084/this-is-the-wii-u-console-in-my-ink+stained-hands
So the Wii U remote also has a stylus? Well, that brings the degree of separation between the controller and the DS down to 0 from… wait, it was already 0: http://wii.ign.com/articles/117/1174590p1.html
Dance Dance Revolution II, it looks like the Wii’s graphics can actually handle the background animations for DDR!: http://www.ign.com/videos/2011/06/08/e3-2011-dance-dance-revolution-ii-off-screen-demo-part-1
