Just because we’ve been focusing on the live show doesn’t mean our cameras have been laying around gathering dust. Here’s a few things we’ve worked on over the past few weeks:
Arcade UFO’s entry into the Americas Favorite Small Business contest
The owners of Arcade UFO here in Austin asked if I would be interested in helping them put together a video for a contest to help them win some money to help make improvements, which I was happy to do. Unfortunately they didn’t make it past the first round. Which shows that the judges knew fuck all about anything.
Keith Apicary live at Arcade UFO
I hadn’t heard of Keith Apicary prior to his performance at UFO. But I figured any guy that was specifically playing at arcades and game shops was worth checking out (and Brue was going anyway). I must say I’m really glad we went and covered this show. Singing about the NeoGeo and giving us one of the most epic moments in UFO history? HELL YEAH.
One Way To Enjoy Newcastle Brown Ale
We put together this Fan Ad because A) it was a good way to test some new equipment, and B) we thought it would be funny. We hope you agree.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
How many takes, and please tell me that was not green screened!
Nope, that was all real. We did one practice run to make sure he could actually drink the stuff for at least five seconds. There were a couple of takes that didn’t work (including one hilarious blooper), and then we got what we wanted on the third take.
And yes, we finally got a lighting kit.
