I think I can safely say that SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) and PIPA (Protect Intellectual Property Act) are bad laws that don’t correct the issue they are aiming for, but rather work to set back the clock on technology and have us get stuck behind our own “Great Firewall”. I do not think I can properly argue or discuss how laws like this are horrible, but I know that I can forward you to someone who can, Leo Leporte. Leo is one of the most prolific broadcasters and tech pundits that have been around. Well, this past week his podcast TWIT discussed the bills and surprisingly not all of his guests were in agreement. Listen in to see some other opinions about the proposed laws.
